PLUK @ Amsterdam Center (9 Streets)

Looking for a place to have your cake and eat it too? And do a little shopping while you’re at it? Look no more! PLUK has 2 locations (here and here) in the 9 streets area, so if one is full, you could just walk over to the other one. Perfect, right? Even more perfect is the fact that it’s right around the corner from my office! How lucky am I?

The Food

This place is famous for all their sweets. I mean…..

(see the matchacake in the corner, the green one. Click here for a reminder on why you should always go with the matcha option)

But also for their unicorn bowl. HOW CUTE IS THIS?? Obviously I had mine to-go (hence the plastic) and I can tell you; it was delicious! I stared at it for 15 minutes before digging in; too cute to eat!

The Decor (Berenstraat)

How cute? When you enter you have the counter with all the sweets and the little shop. Upstairs and downstairs (where you also have a really clean open kitchen)

The Service

The staff, pretty twentysomething girls, were really nice and accomodating. For example;  they thought of ways to  pack my unicornbowl so that it would stay pretty when I arrived at the office 🙂

Other

They have really nice freshmade & healthy juices.
