Matchai Latte: Your new favourite fall drink

Now that you are aware of all the benefits of Matcha (see my post about matcha here ), here’s a great recipe to really enjoy it and feel all the go

Get my recipe for a Matchai Latte (1 cup)

  • 1 Cup of Milk
  • 2 Teaspoons of Matcha
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon of Grated Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
  • 3 Cloves
  • 3 Peppercorns
  • 1 Teaspoon of Honey
  • You could use cardamom, but since I didn’t have any at the moment, I just used extra ginger


Your new favourite drink Matchai Latte 1


  1. Pour the milk in a saucepan and put it on a low flame
  2. Put all the ingredients in, except the matcha and keep whisking it gently until you can smell the chai ingredients
  3. Remove from fire and leave for 1-2 minutes
  4. Add the matcha and pour really slowly
  5. That’s it!
